high degree of creativity and unusual new products were the trademark
of Ambiente 2001. The trade prefers strong brands and concepts (including
interdisciplinary ideas), which guarantee a high level of sales with a
relatively high degree of certainty. Marketing measures, which support
and promote sales in the retail sector, are seen as an important aspect
of these concepts. With over 4,900 exhibitors and around 152,000 trade visitors from 115 countries made their way to Frankfurt during the five days of their fair. This event is considered the largest of its kind in the global arena.
